All Welcome
Explore new activities at FCA. Engage in backgammon sessions for all skill levels. Tuition available upon request. Join us on Friday mornings starting at 10 am for a fun and interactive experience. Embrace a welcoming community atmosphere and make new connections.

Please book early as our events get booked up very quickly. Admission will unfortunately have to be refused when we reach capacity.
Applications by email when all the tickets have been sold will, regretfully, have to be refused
Please note bookings will close for an event at midnight on the day before the event. This is to enable us to know how many people to cater for.
N.B. Whilst tickets are free, there is a cost of £5 per person payable on the night. This is to cover the cost of the refreshments. Drinks are available by voluntary contribution.
Start times are normally 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 7:15 p.m.
Please do not arrive earlier as the doors will not be opened until 7:15 p.m.
On some occasions times may differ, especially for talks. Please note start times in Event details.

Fun prizes.- Fri 20 MarFryern PavilionThis event will focus on the Polish resettlement camp which was based on what is now the Hiltingbury Recreation Ground.

Fri 27 MarChandler's FordA local group of musicians who have played for us before and regularly play at Compton. They will offer a selection of folk songs which you will all know and be able to join in with.
Fri 10 AprFryern PavilionA talk about the many unsavoury characters whose crimes have been glorified. They have subsequently been elevated to the status of folk hero, whereas in reality they were very bad eggs! Subjects include the Kray twins, Dick Turpin, Al Capone and Ronnie Biggs.

Fri 24 AprChandler's Fordhe Roses is a 2025 satirical black comedy film directed by Jay Roach from a screenplay by Tony McNamara. It is based on the 1981 novel The War of the Roses by Warren Adler, and a reimagining of the 1989 film The War of the Roses.
Fri 01 MayFryern PavilionThis is a popular band which is now a regular at our Friday Music Nights. They provide an enjoyable evening of music that is familiar to us all.
Fri 03 JulFryern PavilionOur regular Jazz night is returning with the Southampton based Jazz Quartet Frayed Knot. Expect cool jazz, toe tapping swing, exotic bossa nova, and songs from the Great American Songbook with a hint of the blues, making an intimate atmosphere
Fri 11 DecFryern PavilionA return of this very popular father and son duo who on their first visit, earlier in the year ,made quite an impression with lots of compliments after their session.
